This page contains information about the follow content (scroll down to read all):
  • The Project Website
  • The List of Tools from Participants' Poll (the poll will run between January 4 and January 9, 2012) - results will be posted following that date.
  • Other Resources - this section contains links to information also sent via email to all participants.

a) The Project Website
The number of tools and resources for our workshop will be on the project website. You can access (for now) the draft version of the website (this means it is not indexed as of yet and it is only available to participants to the workshops) at the following address:

http://pdpt.norquest.ca/

Please understand that this website is still a work in progress. We count on the active participation of the participants to all sessions we are offering between December 2011 and March 2012, to modify and add content to and improve this website. This is NOT the way the website will look once we officially launch it. You can access this website after the session, keeping in mind that it may change along the way as we will be updating it constantly until the end of March 2012. Thanks for understanding in using this important tool. Please do not share the website address until it is officially launched.

b) Tools List from Participants' Poll

This is the list of tools that the entire project, the Pro-D Pro-T project, will cover. By early spring 2012 we, atNorQuest College will launch the final version of the project website. All participants who attend our workshops will have access to the website with in-progress content and information. In fact you will contribute to the final version of the website, with your questions and your ideas as you participate in the different sessions.

For this session, due to the specifications of the computer lab we will use, we will NOT BE ABLE TO COVER AND PRACTICE the use of Skype (www.skype.com) and the use of DropBox (www.dropbox.com). However, information about these tools will be available through the project website. Check the information about each tool before casting your vote. d) Other RESOURCES in Preparation for the Workshop**

These are the documents we also shared in our email exchanges with all participants to this workshop.

Please review these in detail before attending the session:
  • The self-assessment Link - click on this link and complete this self-assessment. Quizzes completed by January 10, 2012 will inform the session. We will use the data to fit the language and pace of the presentation at the session to meet the needs of the people who completed the quiz. The quiz is voluntary and anonymous.
  • Consent and Releas_digital.pdf - we will ask you to sign this form at the session. Parts of the session will be recorded and we want to ensure you are given the opportunity to decide what part of your contribution may be used for the purposes of this project.
